how simple can one summarize life? faith, discipline and flexibility.
how tough can life get? we get tripped at each intersection. some never emerge to put their bits and pieces of life in perspective. sadly, the passage of time continues, leaving one to wonder about the need to put things in perspective and the critical elements to the techniques involved that could simplify things.
place your mind in my hands. we will explore and understand our minds together. we will discipline and train our minds together. at the end of the day, hopefully our minds are relatively more flexible...with which we can learn, focus and enjoy.

slate of mind.
the slate of mind is relative. without a filter in close proximity to dark colours, the mind gets stained. the danger of this relativity lies in the indicator -a discomfort that is easily overlooked and suppressed. the importance of this understanding, either distance yourself from the dark colours or setup strong enough a filter. ultimately, we all want to recharge with a clean slate.

the guessing game...
do you like to play the guessing game? i shed my frustration of being entangled in guessing games. the subconscious guessing game. still stuck at what approach i should adopt when faced with these guessing games.
the human mind subconsciously engages itself in "guessing games". but when asked, nobody will tell you they are playing that game. that is the tricky part. being unaware of what their minds have subjected them to. that is the most fearsome thing in interactions. you are at risk not simply under your own wholly but under the whims of the interactors as well.
i'm clean and i focus on looking straight ahead. through layers of convoluted preconceptions, what do i look like? what am i left with?

sequence of events.
what makes things complicated when we all started off simple and perhaps want to be simple? sometimes it's the confusion of sequence of events. which comes first and which comes later? what is the driver and what does that propagates into?
thrust into a host of events on a daily basis. who has the time and energy to find out the "proper procedures" for everything? eventually with seniority, who wants to admit that they do not know the proper way to deal with certain event?
the human memory is an interesting part of the mind. it is an algorithm that bridges gaps automatically. most times so intuitive that we do not even realize it's taking place. the fallacy of this close-to-perfect algorithm is the price of always weighing ourselves more than the others and consequently, giving ourselves a lot more credit. again, nature has its way. such an existence does feedback into a healthier self image yet as with all things that seemingly have their reasons for existence...the vision gets affected.
reasons. i think they are important in assessing the sequence of events to help us understand why things are in place, which in turn determines why we ought to follow the rules. and perhaps even more vital to rationality is the condition of one's mind. how to consistently keep it open so we can have the capacity to understand anything. that is perhaps why the wise reminded us to take time off to sniff the roses...

the strength in numbers.
there is always strength in numbers. be it the sense of belonging or the excitement that somebody understands and shares your point of view.
today is another validation of one of my worse shortcomings. the power of social groups. the inertia to stand alone propelled by the reluctance and hassle of dealing with different mindsets leads to an incomplete conclusion that one is just the sole one of a kind in this lonely, big world.
the importance of balance. the fight internally to believe and live what you see, think and conclude. we all think alike and we all learn a bit from interactions. to harvest the most of it, you selectively pick interactions, both in terms of duration, depth, and individuals.
a very relaxing, humble day...realizing that you are, not by choice, also that 1 speck of dust in zillions and zillions of speckles. just as you are, not by choice, a unique individual that is irreproducible.
the game of one and the game of all. an extremely useful concept to restoring peace and sanity in the mind.

mathematical representation of life...
what comes to mind when they say "circle of life"? as time propagates, my appreciation for this mathematical representation of life changes. indeed it does loop back...with a black box at the connection points, where no living person could communicate.
anyhow, in terms of stability, this shape must have 2 equally stable stationary points. both of which are close to that black-box-joint. in defining stability to be a state of mind that translates peace and contentedness, from one end, we have a "big picture stability" whereas from the other end, it's the "no picture stability". a visualization of these 2 stationary points, is the conceptualization of ideas that excites one and the appreciation of mundane daily activities that calms one.
the commonality...both positions highly advantageous and require significant effort and some intellectual ability for attainment.
are we closer to the black box by studying these 2 closest points of stabilities? regardless, it's 2 very interesting and challenging concepts to amuse oneself for a very very long time.

somewhat different...yet all the same.
every individual is unique, yet all human minds work somewhat the same. in my perspective, the disconnect is the difference between consciousness and sub-consciousness. and from this hypothesis, i formulate my argument with supporting examples in different aspects of my experience.
does it make a difference to differentiate such a subtlety? i did not use to think so; hence, my stories stay in my mind. until a recent incident in my experience, which is essentially a blow-up of worse case scenarios, did i realise the possible significance of that subtlety. much as i think that this subtlety cannot be easily appreciated until one has a similar personal encounter, the slim chances of possibly raising a mental warning for some warrants a portion of my mid day time...
